Welcome to our cozy retreat, exclusively for couples who want to relax and unwind. Our peaceful surroundings are a perfect oasis for recharging and rejuvenating. We're excited to provide you with an amazing stay!
Get away, relax, enjoy and explore the beaches and countryside of the beautiful South Hams from Meadow Hideout.
Upon entering the guest suite, you will step into the bright and sunny, south facing open plan living/dining area. The huge picture window and vintage Ercol chairs over look the meadow. After a long day exploring the South Hams, unwind and play games or watch TV next to the cosy wood burner.

Equipped with everything you need for a comfortable stay including dishwasher, fridge-freezer and cooking facilities, the kitchen/dining area with concertina door leads onto the peaceful decking overlooking the meadow. If you decide not to cook then our award winning local pub is a mere 4 minutes walk away ( 6 minute stagger back) with 3 more excellent pubs a mile either side of the Hideout. And of course, as we are one of the local villages, you can also order takeaway from Kingsbridge (menus in the kitchen drawer).

You are sure to feel relaxed in the luxurious master bedroom featuring a fun and relaxing star ceiling. The bedroom features a king-size bed and en-suite shower room. Robes, towels and slippers are provided.
Outside - well you probably aren’t going to want to venture off the decking if the sun is out with it’s twin chairs and footrests, it’s the perfect place to relax in the sun.
In the evening, dine out with the romance of a plant filled fairy-lit oasis. A few steps down from the decking and you can strike a match and spark up the fire pit, cook a few sausages or toast some marshmallows while you enjoy the view of the meadow.

And of course, you can wander a few paces to the private hot tub area. Still with lovely views of the meadow, this area also benefits from the evening sun and is the perfect place to enjoy a sundowner.

Meadow Hideout is perfectly situated to explore the South Hams, as well as hot tub/beach towels, we provide a picnic back pack (and ice packs), maps of the local areas. Your host can share a lifetime of knowledge about the area
